According to the researcher team in the southern United States, a device is already shown for being efficient to detect the SARS-CoV-2 which is affiliated with the different instructions.  This detection can be quick and useful in most areas where the spread of the virus is at an alarming level. The testing of the virus is presently done via kit which takes time and this new option can be a better one in finding the infection in an individual as well as area if the same is done at a mass level.

Based on the results of the analysis, the process can be done within 30 minutes by using a laboratory scale which costs less than 1 dollar for every Geno sensor. 

On this note, the components are listed by the impedance analyzer which is called as durable part of the device is costed less than 200 dollars. This known device has already existed within laboratory scale and the technologies which can be converted to any of the company.

Researchers say that technology is transferred to wherewithal mass production. The Geno sensor is immobilized with simple DNA strips which are used by the capture probes with certain conditions.

Researchers say that the available environment can be immobilized with simple strips of DNA and RNA and can be used in capture probes too. The hybridizations which are taken place are done by using complementary strips.

Based on the samples shown, different variants within physical parameters are detected by using electrochemical spectroscopy impedance to localize the plasmon surface resonance.

Investigators say that “after the process of hybridization, there is an instant increase for electrical resistance within the surface of sensor that is monitored by low-cost effective impedances analyzer which is costed up to 100 dollars”.

Based on the various effects of hybridizations are captured between the sequences of complementary shifts of SARS-CoV-2 under the absorbance peak for transmission spectrum and monitored by the local surfaces for plasmon resonance by spectrophotometer. 

Paulo Augusto Raymundo-Pereira is the lead researcher of this study, he stated that “highest sensitivities are achieved with this study and got sufficient detections over DNA sequences by salina and body fluids of a person” the complementary sequences of SARS-CoV-2 are diagnosed by learning machine techniques for scanning the microscopic images.

Researchers say that “on the application of machine learning algorithms, image processing must be studied to get concentrations for SARS-CoV-2 complementary sequences”. 

On a concluding note, the Geno sensors are promised to be a detector for the respective genetic material which is taken from different variants of SARS-CoV-2.
